Market Director
The Market Director is
responsible for representing Self Storage Management to
our existing and potential clients. This is an exciting and
rewarding position for a take charge individual who is ready for
diverse challenges. You will initiate and facilitate the sale
process of all of our services with the support of our Home
Office personnel. Along with being responsible for the sale of
our services and products, you will be responsible for
supervising the daily operations of the locations in your market
area.
You must have storage
management (multi unit preferred) and sales in your background.
A Bachelor's degree is desired. No relocation assistance is
offered.

Development Director
As the Development Director
you will interact with current and potential clients
concerning the physical plant they either own, or intend to
purchase/build.
- Assist in the ground
up development activities for new locations owned by clients.
- Assist in site
selection and acquisition: Work with
clients on identifying and researching desired trade areas.
- Feasibility Study:
Conduct a study for a target location that integrates
competition, market climate, zoning and legal issues, pro
forma and overall analysis of subject property.
- Due Diligence
Coordination: Coordinate with legal
departments, project architects, and local building
departments.
- Architect
Coordination: Assist in managing the
architectural process coordinating all information between the
client, architect and general contractor.
- General Contractor
Coordination: Liaison between the
client, GC and construction manager during construction phase.
- Project Support:
Main liaison with lenders, insurance companies and other third
party vendors supporting each project.
The ideal candidate has 3 to 6
years experience in the commercial real estate industry and
experience in any of the following capacities will be favorable:
retail real estate development, commercial brokerage, multi
unit retail roll out (storage, retail, or restaurant), general
contracting/project manager.
